Alpha Sigma Mu inducts new class of Fellows!

Alpha Sigma Mu inducted a new class of Distinguished Fellows at the ASM International IMAT 2025 Conference on October 21, 2025 in Detroit.

Shown above is Dr. Aisha Haynes, center, receiving her plaque from ASMu Board Members Dr. Iver Anderson (left) and Dr. Chris Berndt.  Dr. Haynes is currently Vice President at Strategic Marketing, Inc., after a two decade career in the Department of Defense.

Dr. Pete Collins, Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Iowa State University, receives his fellow plaque.

Dr. Emily Kinser receives her Fellow Plaque.  Dr. Kinser is currently a Program Director at ARPA-E, and has been a researcher at NIST and a research director at 3M.

Mr. Chris Misorski receives his Fellow plaque.  Mr. Misorski has had a distinguished 33 year career at Mercury Marine, where he is currently a Brunswick Fellow in Materials.

Dr. Navin Manjoorin displays his Fellow Plaque.  Dr. Manjoorin is currently the Chairman of Solve Global and is the 2025 President of ASM International.
